FDA links hepatitis A outbreak with organic strawberries

The Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency May 28 announced a potential link between a recent multistate hepatitis A outbreak and organic strawberries branded FreshKampo and HEB. Anyone who purchased these brands between March 5 and April 25 should throw any remaining strawberries away and seek medical attention if experiencing hepatitis A symptoms.
