AHA reaffirms commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ communities as Pride Month kicks off

On the start of Pride Month, the AHA today reaffirmed its commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ communities. The AHA and its member hospitals and health systems are committed to treating everyone, regardless of background, with compassion, dignity and respect so that they reach their highest potential for health.  
 
The AHA’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity has shared resources through its Health Equity Action Library that focus on practical, how-to solutions to help hospitals and health systems of all sizes build more inclusive and equitable communities.
