AHA and its American Organization for Nursing Leadership have partnered with CGFNS International, an organization that evaluates international nursing credentials, to help displaced Ukrainian nurses practice in the United States.

Passport2Liberty offers a path for hospitals and health systems to help displaced Ukrainian nurses find support and assistance in rebuilding their lives, while continuing their nursing careers in the United States,” said Robyn Begley, AHA senior vice president and chief nursing officer and AONL CEO.

In a special edition of the AHA’s Advancing Health podcast, recorded this week at the AHA Leadership Summit in San Diego, Begley talks with Warner Thomas, president and CEO of Ochsner Health in New Orleans, the first U.S. health system to participate in the initiative. LISTEN HERE
